Set amid Ubud’s lush jungle valley setting and yet only 5 minutes from Ubud centre, Apéritif offers unique fine dining Bali, a must-do experience for foodies and architecture enthusiasts alike. The 1920s-inspired restaurant and bar offers sophisticated degustation menu that is representative of the culinary team —led by Belgian Chef Nic Vanderbeeken— and their respect for quality ingredients.
CasCades Restaurant
CasCades Restaurant in Ubud is perfectly perched atop the luscious Valley of the Kings with jaw dropping views of the jungle ravine. We create gourmet traditional Indonesian dishes alongside Western classics; the meticulously crafted food can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner. CasCades produces bold and unique dishes, perfect for a long jungle lunch whilst taking in our striking tropical valley views.

Activities and Transfers

With its central location in the heart of Bali, Ubud is the perfect gateway to explore the rich culture, stunning landscapes, and hidden treasures of the island. From vibrant markets to serene rice terraces, there's always something to discover and cherish. Adventure seekers will be kept busy with white water rafting, cycling, volcano trekking and ATV driving to name a few
Transfer
Viceroy Bali has a fleet of luxury vehicles owned and operated by the hotel which are available for transfers and tours. A typical vehicle is a Toyota Innova. Our drivers speak English and know the road network extremely well. We are able to provide transport across most of the island. Prices are available on request and are competitive compared to DMC’s or similar.
Helicopter Service
Viceroy Bali has the only hotel helipad in Ubud. Transfers from the airport can take around 12 minutes. We recommend guests to take a island tour on their way to or from the hotel to maximise the experience. Bali is a volcanic island with spectacular sights to be seen from the air. Island wide tours are available directly from the hotel helipad ranging from 30 to 60 minutes. Longer helicopter journeys are available for island hopping.

Since we opened in 2005 we have introduced various initiatives throughout the hotel with the aim of prolonging the unique spirit our special home of Ubud encapsulates.
