Alternatively, the Serangan Turtle Island located 500 metres south of Denpasar has been transformed into a turtle conservation and education centre. You might even be lucky enough to witness the release of hatchlings and participate in feeding the larger turtles.

For those after a more thrilling adrenaline rush, consider white water rafting down Bali’s longest and largest rapids. Experience vortexes of swirling foamy water, natural ramps, stunning waterfalls and sudden drops as you paddle and steer down the Ayung River. If white water rafting doesn’t appeal to you then consider surfing at one of Bali’s pristine beaches. Bali is a surfers oasis with people traveling from all over the globe just to enjoy its amazing waves. Board rentals and surf schools are widely available and accommodate for all surfing abilities.

There are so many things to do in Bali that you could easily spend a month here and still only see a fraction of the sights on offer.
