Explore the Rice Paddies of Bali
There is something magical about the rice paddies of Bali that brings visitors back to the island. The road leading to Viceroy Bali is flanked with paddies that seem to yield abundant crops throughout the year.
Guests have the opportunity to walk through these picturesque fields on a trek that begins with a visit to the neighbouring wood carving village of Nagi for a glimpse of daily Balinese life, through coconut plantations and the rice fields down to the banks of the Petanu River.
The trek begins at 7.00am and lasts two hours. Price: US$20 per person including a bottle of mineral water. Arrange for this trek through the hotel's reception the day before.
